As we continue to expand, we are looking to fill additional positions in our Purchasing and Production Planning Department.

The individual selected for this position will have the opportunity to interface with our customers, vendors, and internal personnel. The main focus will be to purchase, plan, and schedule materials required to meet production needs, and ensure production schedules are executed in a timely manner to meet customer needs.

Some of the duties of this position include:

• Purchasing and scheduling raw materials to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Interacting with vendors to maintain strong support of the company and to facilitate customer orders.
• Ensuring that customer specifications are met.

· Customer Service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to negotiate and work with vendors
· Strong computer skills and ability to learn our proprietary software systems

We are looking for an embedded systems engineer to join our growing product development team. As an expert in embedded solutions, you will be working on both hardware and software side of things. You will be solving challenging problems and developing innovative solutions that finds application across many industries. Sound technical knowledge and a creative approach to problem solving are a must to qualify for this job.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and verify systems for various embedded applications
• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded platforms
• Create and manage documentation for active projects
• Interact with clients and help with the development of customized embedded solutions
• Test and debug embedded software and applications
• Develop hardware and software specifications
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Provide technical assistance to clients and sales team
• Develop tools and techniques for testing and verification

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science
• Minimum two years of experience in embedded software or hardware development
• Sound knowledge of VHDL, C, C++ and assembly
• Good grasp of testing and debugging techniques and protocols
• Working knowledge of industrial Arduino products (Portenta H7)
• Excellent knowledge of interface and network protocols, including IoT applications using MQTT
• High degree of familiarity with logic analyzers, digital storage oscilloscope etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

We have a robust training program to address the needs of each position in the company, with advanced training available in Six Sigma processes and Lean Manufacturing. In addition, we are SQF (Safe Quality Foods) certified for both food contact packaging food safety and for quality, which contributes to a strong culture of employee engagement.

As we continue to expand, we are looking to fill additional positions in our production department, including press operators, converting equipment operators, laminating operators, and maintenance technicians.

The successful candidate should be mechanically inclined with a strong desire to work and learn. They should have good basic computer skills, since the majority of our processes are executed and verified through our online system.

In addition, the following qualities are required:

Must be able to stand and monitor equipment through the shift,

Bending, twisting, kneeling and stooping as required for normal production day,

Able to read and follow written job specifications with accuracy and attention to detail,

Able to adhere to company SOPs and Work Instructions pertaining to safety and performance.

Day, night, and weekend shifts are available. Typical shifts are 12 hours per day/4 days per week, with opportunity for overtime.

  Maintenance Technician  
Allied Packaging is a 35+ year leader in the industrial packaging industry. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work with our maintenance staff.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance functions, including safety, maximizing machine productivity and uptime, as well as the condition and upkeep of the facility. Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out responsibilities as directed by management.

Responsibilites:
  • Adhere to the preventive/predictive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment and tools. Oversee and/or install, maintain, repair, adjust, troubleshoot and inspect equipment and tools.
  • Identify systems and procedures designed to improve operations. Make recommendations and implement new programs as needed.
  • Role model all safety standards/processes.
  • Build positive relationships with operations and maintenance personnel to continuously improve operations.
  • Remain current and up to date on changing technical, reliability and maintenance management improvements in the industry.
  • Perform general facility repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Own or contribute to other functions, such as safety or environmental initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of experience in maintenance and repair with emphasis in machine design and facility construction/maintenance.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Must have comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Must be resourceful in accomplishing objectives and complex tasks along with outstanding organizational and communication skills to meet all of the company goals set.
